The sea was angry today, my friends. Adventurous souls that we are, O. and I went to take a look for ourselves. My photos were not all that dramatic, but I have never seen the waves of Lake Michigan splashing so violently over piers and barricades. It was windy and so I pulled my scarf up over my blowing hair and cold ears--and then, of course, someone deemed that photo-worthy!
